Guilty Gear Strive is fast approaching its April 9th release date for PS4, PS5, and PC. During the 19th-23rd of February, an open beta was held, giving players a taste of the new art direction and gameplay mechanics.
I charged into the beta, recording 30 minutes of raw gameplay for Playtopia, but I actually really enjoyed my time with the game and wanted to put together a video with my thoughts on the experience.
I won’t go into too much detail here, but it’s very apparent that this is a huge leap forward for Guilty Gear, with gorgeous visuals, new mechanics, and more. You can check out my video below.
