FX Games was one of the most loved video game stores in the Newcastle area throughout the 90’s and into the early 2000’s. With a range of gaming goods that rivaled modern-day JB Hifi stores, FX Games also kept TV’s and consoles setup permanently so that customers could free-play on selected games, or even try/test before you buy.
Many people have great memories of FX Games as THE place to go whenever you could and play games, buy games, trade in your old games, or simply just walk around looking at the seemingly endless displays and boxes on the shelves.
Sadly like most gaming and LAN outlets, broadband and franchised chains took over and FX Games closed its door in 2004.
