Minecraft Dungeons II is out now on Switch 2

Minecraft Dungeons II has launched on Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch. The new chapter sends you through a rift into the Sift, an uncharted dimension full of threats and mysteries. You can go it alone or team up with mates, gearing up and customising your loadout to take on tougher enemies.

Overwatch's new hero Doctrine gets a gameplay trailer

Overwatch's newest Support hero, Doctrine, has a gameplay trailer out for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. Doctrine manipulates life itself, healing allies and damaging enemies with an Eternal Scepter. The kit includes Shrouded Momentum to dodge incoming fire and Invigorating Drones that boost an ally's attack speed and healing.

A Game About Digging a Hole Together is getting co-op

Xbox has announced a new version of A Game About Digging A Hole Together, built this time for playing with friends. It's a minimalist game about digging a hole at the beach: collect resources, sell them, upgrade your gear and search for a buried treasure.

PlayStation has its own gameplay trailer for Doctrine, Overwatch's newest Support hero. Goat Simulator 3 is opening a theme park

Goat Simulator 3's new Ticket to Dizzyworld content adds a goat-themed amusement park. You can ride the park's attractions, turn visitors into balloons and trade Dizzy Tokens for rewards. The park opens on 19 November.

Xbox has released a PC trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 showing off Enhanced FOV, ultrawide support and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Xbox says the game will run ray tracing across every mode on PC.

Transport Fever 3 has launched

NBA The Run adds five 2000s legends

NBA The Run's first major update, Wave One - 2000s Legends, is out now on PS5. It adds Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady and Dirk Nowitzki, plus a new Drive Cam, driving layups and standing dunks. There's also a Championship Belt, a Practice Mode and Custom Matches.

Transport Fever 3 is also on GOG

Transport Fever 3 is now available on GOG, DRM-free. It's a transport tycoon game where you plan, build and optimise your own network, from horse-drawn wagons through to supertankers and high-speed trains. Anyone who owns Transport Fever 2 gets a 10% loyalty discount until 13 October.

NBA The Run's first season is underway

NBA The Run Kicks off its First Season with a Major Update

NBA The Run's Wave One - 2000s Legends update landed on 29 September as a free download, its biggest since the game launched in June. It adds five Hall of Famers (Iverson, Garnett, Carter, McGrady and Nowitzki), new camera angles, licensed music, Practice Mode and Custom Matches. Each legend unlocks for 5,000 in-game currency, or you can buy all five together as DLC for $9.99. A campaign mode is targeted for Spring 2027.

Xbox is testing Mythic Achievements

Xbox Insiders can now try Mythic Achievements, a new way to mark games where you've finished every original achievement (DLC achievements aren't required). A new Gaming tab on your profile tracks progress toward Mythic status, and it applies retroactively to games you've already completed, including Xbox 360 titles.
