STAR WARS: Galactic Racer is built around crashing well, not avoiding it

Fuse Games' STAR WARS: Galactic Racer launched this week on Xbox Series X|S. You pick a vehicle (speeder bike, landspeeder or skim speeder) and a racer style, then build it up with parts and upgrades across a run of races. Rack up too many crashes and you "wreck out," losing your progress. Creative director Kieran Crimmins calls it "a replayable loop that allows you to experiment with a new way to play every time." The campaign follows a character called Shade through the underground Galactic League, and there's multiplayer too.
