Colorbound tells a Chilean family story through colour and music

Colorbound is Panpipe Studio's new puzzle platformer, out through Whitethorn Games, and it runs on colour mechanics: heavier colours drop, lighter ones float, and mixing them opens up the way forward. You play Anku, a boy in the mountains of Chile, who sets out with his late grandfather's panpipe to track down the rest of his old band after he passes away. It draws on Aymara culture from the Andes, with the panpipe, the zampoña, as both a collectible and the heart of the story, all wrapped in a pastel watercolour look.
