If you've been on Steam for a while, your library is most likely a graveyard of games you meant to come back to at some time or another. Some of them have changed a lot since you left.... A roguelike you dropped in 2023 has had four content updates. An early-access game you gave up on shipped its 1.0. A live game you loved quietly announced its servers are closing. Steam publishes an update post for every one of those, and unless you go looking game by game, it's pretty rare you'll ever see any of them.

Where the posts come from
These are not our posts. Every item in the feed is an official update the developer or Valve published on Steam, pulled live from Steam's public news feed for that game. We strip the Steam formatting tags so it reads cleanly, trim it to an excerpt, and link every item straight back to the full post on Steam. We collate and filter, we don't rewrite.
"Since you played"
When you connect Steam, Playtopia syncs more than the list of games you own: it also pulls how long you have played each one and when you last launched it. The feed uses that. The Since You Played view hides everything published before your last session with a game and shows only what has landed since. Open it for a game you have not touched in a year and you get exactly the patch notes, new modes and announcements you missed, with nothing you already saw in the way.
Make it yours
Pin the games you actually care about to keep them at the top. Mute the ones you never want to hear about again. Switch between For You (ranked by what you play and what you have pinned), Since You Played, Pinned and Latest, and flip between big cards or a dense log view depending on how much you feel like scrolling.
