Weapon Skill Trees

Active combat abilities unlocked through weapon mastery proficiency

Weapon Skills are unlocked by raising your Weapon Mastery level for each weapon type. Mastery increases naturally through combat — the more you use a weapon, the faster its skills unlock.

Each weapon has its own independent proficiency track. Skills unlock sequentially as proficiency thresholds are reached — earlier skills unlock quickly, while the final techniques require sustained commitment to a single weapon path. You can maintain proficiency in multiple weapon types simultaneously.

Mastery Tips

  • You do not need to equip a weapon to maintain its proficiency, but you must use it in actual combat hits.
  • Proficiency is gained faster on harder enemies — fighting camp defenders or dungeon creatures is more efficient than hunting wildlife.
  • Once unlocked, all skills in the tree are always available — there is no skill reset or point allocation needed.
  • Variant skills (branch skills) require the preceding skill to be unlocked first and represent alternate techniques for the same slot.
