Proficiency System
9 weapon tracks · 19 crafting disciplines · 5 specialised roles
Proficiency is the levelling system for both player characters and tribespeople. Each weapon type and crafting discipline has its own independent track that advances through use.
Each track has four dimensions: a base mastery level and three sub-stats — Attack Power / Yield, Damage Bonus / Quality, and Knockdown / Speed. Sub-stats are trained independently and let you specialise a tribesperson toward their assigned role. Tribespeople level proficiencies through actually performing the relevant task — assign them to the right workstation or combat role for efficient growth.
Whip Proficiency
A flexible, chain-like weapon that excels at crowd control and applying status effects. High attack speed with moderate damage per hit.

Base mastery level — unlocks skill slots and raises overall weapon effectiveness.

Increases raw whip strike damage at all proficiency levels.

Amplifies damage multiplier, making each hit land harder.

Increases the chance and force of knockdown effects on whip hits.
Weapon Proficiency Tips
- →Each weapon type has a completely independent proficiency track — levelling one does not affect others.
- →Attack sub-stats (gongji, xiaoren, xiaoti) are trained separately from the base mastery level — focus on what your fighter actually needs.
- →Assign tribespeople to combat roles matching their highest weapon proficiency for maximum damage output.
- →Fighting camp defenders and dungeon enemies gives significantly faster proficiency gains than hunting wildlife.
- →Shield (dun) proficiency is primarily defensive — prioritise it for designated frontline tanking tribespeople.
