Status Effects
48 effects across 6 categories — debuffs, injuries, buffs, and survival states
Status effects are applied to your character or tribespeople by environmental conditions, combat, creature abilities, or items. Debuffs impair performance or deal damage; buffs provide beneficial effects. Most negative effects can be mitigated with the correct food, gear, or medical items.
Temperature effects escalate through severity tiers — address early stages before they become lethal. Body part injuries accumulate separately per limb and require targeted treatment.
Injuries are tracked separately per body part and per type. Each combination has its own severity and treatment. External wounds cause bleeding; internal injuries impair function; fractures severely restrict the affected limb; critical states are life-threatening.
