Soulmask's main story is told through three quest lines that unfold across ~10 stages. The game doesn't hold your hand — each stage gives you a set of objectives and lets you tackle them in your own order. Boss encounters are tied to specific stages and unlock the next chapter of the story.
Dawn of the New Tribe
The foundation of your journey. Gather resources, arm yourself, build a shelter, and establish your first tribe with recruited survivors.

First Blood
- Gather basic plant resources
- Craft a Stone Sickle

- Craft additional stone tools
- Unlock basic crafting stations

Into the Wild
- Craft Bandages for healing

- Hunt and process an animal
- Cook meat at a campfire

- Upgrade your character attributes
- Craft melee weapons

Making Camp
- Build a campfire
- Construct a thatch shelter
- Upgrade your dwelling materials

Stage 4
The First Mask
- Obtain a map of the region
- Visit a nearby Mysterious Ruins
- Craft a stone-tier weapon
- Work with the mask system (multiple objectives)
- Gain Mask Control ability
- Recruit your first tribesperson
- Establish a base camp
- Loot chests in ruins

Prepare for the pyramid's trials. Strengthen your tribe, forge better equipment, and face the Saber-toothed Predator — guardian of the Rainforest Pyramid.
